Although some people keep chickens more as pets they still enjoy finding eggs every morning. The number of eggs depends on the breed of chicken and their age. hybrid chickens lay far more eggs but the number of eggs will go down with the age of the bird.

We have three chickens and get on average 18 eggs a week. Two of the chickens lay small dark brown eggs whilst the other lays very large light brown ones.
